What is a good but simple fitness routine that someone can do at home?

Hi, I'm 17 and kinda thin and I've decided that this summer I would build up some muscle...

I don't live close to any good gyms so I'll only be able to go to one occasionally...

What's a good but simple fitness routine that can be done at home to build up some muscle? Thanks...|||Some basic but effective exercises that you can do at home without any equipment would be push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups(on a tree branch), and lifting and moving furniture is good if you don't want to buy any weights.

If you do want to buy some weights I would recommend dumbbells, which are the single hand-held weights and get an exercise ball. You can do some good stability exercises on the ball like presses and flyes. Sit-ups are good on a ball as well. Good thing about an exercise ball and dumbbells is that they easily store out of the way when not in use.|||vigorous SEX 1-3 times a day!

|||Since you are a guy I would recommend doing push ups, ab work outs, and pull ups.

|||Pilates is an exercise routine that requires nothing except your own body, and maybe a mat or towel to pat or protect your back on the ground. All you would have to pay for is a book to teach you the routine.

Good luck!

|||I would say running is the best way to get and stay in shape. Also, start doing a routine that requires nothing but your own body, which includes things like pushups, jumping jacks, etc. Try getting a homeworkout book from the library or renting a total conditioning DVD.

Best of luck!

|||Walking is a great way to tone up, a brisk 20 to 30 minute walk per day is free and very good for you. Weights for round the wrist and ankles are also cheap to buy and add resistance. I've lost 10kg this year just by walking daily and eating sensibly.
