Fitness???

I am doing a workout routine that requires me to do pull-ups. Is there any other exercise that i can do just with dumbbells or w/o that can subtitute for the pull-ups since i have no pull-up bar in my house?|||Pull-ups mainly work out the lats, and the biceps. There really is no substitute for pull-ups, they're quite essential. However... there are a few work out movement that you can perform using only dumbbells that will focus its attention on your lats... but it's not quite as effective as a pull-up.


They are called Dumbbell-Rows; I suggest you looking it up on yahoo images-or yahoo video search... so that way you can get a good idea of how it's performed. I think it's best to see it, instead of having someone verbalize it.|||Well, without a chinning bar or a lat machine, there is little you can do to simulate a pullup. However, you can train your back with dumbbells. Try dumbbell rows. Not the same exercise, of course, but it's a good back exercise nonetheless.
